CEO, Women in Film and Television - UK

Kate Kinninmont has held the position of CEO of Women in Film and Television (UK) for the past eight years. Since her direction, this women centric organization has doubled WFTV’s income and tripled the membership. Prior to becoming CEO of WIFTV-UK, Kate was, a Director, Producer and Executive Producer in television for the BBC, Lion Television, Catalyst TV, Independent Image and Greenpeace Communications creating children’s drama, consumer and health programming.

Cynthia-Laure Etom

Founder and President, Women in Film - France

Cynthia-Laure Etom is the President and Founder of Women In Film France - FRANCE WIF. Etom owns the CLE * UP Agency and has provided works as a press officer to the Cannes festival, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The French Institute in organizing promotional events for films. Also, developing porjects for audiovisual attachés of countries from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Near and Middle east, Central and Eastern Europe. Etom is also the founder of the network THE DIASPEROS ( for Afro-Caribbean Diaspora media professionals.

Amritha Vaz began her career as a film composer under the mentorship of Tim McCauley and Mychael Danna. As Mychael Danna assistant, she had the opportunity to work on 11 feature films and two television shows including the Oscar nominated scores for The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Marc Webb’s award-winning 500 Days Of Summer, Cannes winner Adoration and The Time Traveler's Wife.
